The journey begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Langtang region. As you trek through the dense forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo, you enter Langtang National Park, home to diverse wildlife and stunning views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. Following the Langtang River, the trail passes through Langtang Village and reaches Kyanjin Gompa, a sacred monastery offering panoramic views of the Langtang and Langshisa ranges. A side trek to Tserko Ri (4,984m) rewards trekkers with mesmerizing views of Dorje Lakpa (6,966m), Langtang Lirung (7,227m), and Langshisha Ri (6,427m).
Descending back to Lama Hotel, the trail then leads to Shin Gompa before reaching the holy Gosainkunda Lake. This sacred alpine lake, visited by thousands of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims, is believed to provide spiritual purification. The trek continues towards Helambu Valley via Laurebinayak La (4,160m), crossing dense forests and charming villages before returning to Kathmandu, marking the trek’s completion.
This trek seamlessly blends the Langtang Valley Trek, Gosainkunda Trek, and Helambu Trek, offering a captivating mix of Himalayan scenery, tranquil lakes, vibrant villages, and warm hospitality.
